MDB Reform Advisory is produced by Parminder Brar, with two decades of field experience across Sub-Saharan Africa, including postings in Ethiopia, Sierra Leone, and a range of fragile and conflict-affected states across the continent.
The platform draws on primary data — the IEG master evaluation database, ICRR corpus, procurement records, and project documentation — to produce empirical analysis of MDB performance, governance, and accountability.
The platform has no institutional funding and no contractual relationships with the institutions it analyses. All analysis represents the independent views of the author.
MDB Reform Advisory is open to consulting and advisory engagements. We work with governments, parliamentary oversight bodies, civil society organisations, researchers, and journalists who need independent, evidence-grounded analysis of MDB performance, governance, and accountability.
We draw on a network of former MDB staff and independent specialists across Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
